I woke up at 7 AM this morning to log on to the GESY, the Government-run healthcare system, to sign up for a COVID vaccine. At 7:30 AM the portal opened up for 37 and 38 year-olds. I was already logged in and proceeded to attempt to sign up. At first, it could not find my record. I learned that my first name also includes my middle name.

After logging into the system, I choose a location that corresponded to a vaccine manufacturer and tried to submit the form. The site crashed four times during the process but twenty minutes later I got an appointment.

About ten minutes later, there were no more vaccines left. People who didn't get it will have to wait a few weeks until their age range opens up again.
