2018 Worldwide Photowalk

Last Thursday I was browsing the history section of my photos and I noticed that in 2013 I had participated in the Worldwide Photowalk. I googled the event and was happily surprised that it was today! The event happens every year around the first week in October. In past years it has conflicted with the Great American Beer Festival.

I took around 150 photos with my Canon.

The photowalk included six photographers. However, during the walk, there were probably another half dozen commercial photographers doing family portraits. In the pond, there was a sunflower that had probably blown there from one of the shoots since there aren't any sunflower patches around.

Out of the 150 photos or so the ones I posted here are my favorites. I now have to pick one to submit for the competition.

October 10th, 2018 update

The photo walk had a competition portion where each photographer would select one photo that they took during the walk to be submitted. From there it would go on to another round of judging. After going back and forth on which image to submit I have decided on this one. I also changed the colors a bit to make the red pop more.
