Break
With the conference going on all day I haven't had much time to go outside, so at a break I went and sat down on a bench in the alleyway.
Stairs
The hotel had 11 floors and I was on the 10th. The Microsoft Band gave me credit for a quarter of a mile when I walked from the 10th floor to the 1st. I did this a few times.
