The Buffalo
Michelle had a football game today so I decided to go out and take some pictures. When I woke up this morning I had no idea where I should go. Looking at my photo map I had a lot of choices, I could do Boulder, Ft. Collins, Denver, or Eastern Colorado. All those places would have great opportunities but I have been to them for various errands. I decided to go somewhere that I would never actually go, Cheyenne, Wyoming.
This statue is on the north side of the Wyoming Capitol building. The flowers provided a nice foreground and I played around with both the statue in focus and the flowers in focus. As I was shooting, I was convinced that I would like the flowers to be in focus and the statue not. Surprisingly, when I uploaded them to the computer, I found I liked quite the statue in focus.
