In the morning we drove Irene to the vila to get ready with the rest of the bridal party. Milo, Elena and I came back to the hotel to hangout. We were walking through the lobby and Milo saw the balls at the gift shop.
Elena watched Milo when he went for a nap and I wandered around. The hotel was connected to this amazing beach that was about 250 steps below.
The original plan was to go down to the beach, however I saw a sign that said “Cyclops’s Cave” and I knew that is where I would go. There was a path that headed east.
These villas cost around $1000 a night, which isn’t too bad considering they sleep 8. Many boats came into the bay here for swimmers to jump off and swim.
After 20 minutes or so I got to the edge with no sighting of this cave.
Cyclops Cave
On my way back I found the cave!
It didn’t go that deep inside, and had two entrances.
In the afternoon we went to the villa to watch the couple get ready. This is a Cypriot tradition where a band starts at the groom’s house and then goes to the bride’s. Since they rented a villa in Protoras, it was at the same location.
In the evening I took Milo and Elena back to the hotel while Irene and the couple went to the church to get married. Afterwards, I met Irene back at the villa for the reception and dinner. I didn’t take any more photos so this one of me, with my sloppy tie will have to do.
