Sidirokastro is situated in a valley, and on the north side there is an old fort. We took the car up towards the top and got out to explore a bit.
You could see the whole village from the top.
This is the same hill, but looking towards northwest.
In the afternoon we went to Serres for dinner, but most places were closed for the Easter holiday.
Since most places were closed, we went tot he restaurant at the top of the hill near the hotel. Milo and I had walked here a few days ago but didn’t go into the restaurant to see the ruins.
