The general doctor on Monday gave me a referral for an orthopedic doctor and a recommendation of someone to call. When we called them, they said they could schedule an appointment for three weeks out. Luckily, Irene's dad also had a recommendation who was able to see us today. He took a look at the Xrays and determined that I have a Jones fracture and that the full cast wasn't necessary. He suggested this removable boot that I can take off when I don't need it.
