Suminagashi
This evening we went to a presentation on balance in art at UNC's Loveland campus. There was a 45 minute presentation and then an interactive part where we created pieces using a technique called suminagashi, or "floating ink". There was a tub of water that we dropped ink into and then placed a piece of newsprint to soak up the ink. This was my first attempt.
