A few weeks ago I found a forum on the internet that was recommending this book. I searched Amazon and found that they sold used copies for $200. Luckily, my library system had two of them and it came today.
This book was originally written in 1974 and this revised copy was published in 1987. It talks about computers and predictions for the "future". I read part of the intro and although I haven't gotten too much out of it, many of the images and graphs towards the middle look promising. I believe there are a lot of concepts that are still relevant today.
The author of this book also happens to be the person who came up with http.
On the right, you will see that the last time this book was checked out from the original library was in 1989. I'm glad they didn't get rid of this book.
