Snowshoes
If you saw yesterday's photo than you know that we rented snowshoes. Today, we went up to Blue Lake and hiked around for about an hour. It was 35 degrees when we left Loveland, but for some reason it was 45-50 degrees up in the mountains! Where we hiked there was a few feet of snow on the ground. The shoes worked out great and now we have some ideas on which ones to get (should we choose to purchase some).
Poudre
We crossed over the Poudre River via a bridge.
Gloves
As mentioned in the first photo, it was around 45 degrees outside so the ski apparel we brought was too warm. We stopped a few time to change out clothing.
