Central Park

Central Park

We walked around Central Park for a bit this morning on our way over to the Guggenheim.

The north part of the park doesn't have skyscrapers around it. This is a reservoir that is towards the north part of the park.

Guggenheim Museum

The plan was to do either the Met, the Moma or the Guggenheim and because we were meeting Irene's relatives in the evening we settled on the Guggenheim. The spiral section was under construction so the museum was about half the size and was priced $15 for the two of us. It was very small, yes, I was warned, but it was SUPER small! It was still fun.

The skyling in the spiral of the museum.

In the late afternoon, we took the subway to Astoria to meet up with Irene's uncle and family.

The original idea for the video was the passing buildings but when I hit record a traing passed the other direction!

Graffiti

Graffiti

I did not see much graffiti in the city that I would consider artful. On the train, there was a bit but it was more graffiti than it was art or murals.
