Omodos
We drove up the mountain town Omodos this afternoon to explore. It took us about an hour and a half to get there as it was a little past Trodos. Google Maps tried to suggest we drive down some very narrow streets so eventually we gave up and parked on the side of the road. From there, we walked to the center of town. This photo was to mark where the car was!
There was a cute downtown area that had shops and restaurants. It was not that crowded since flights to the island just resumed last week. The town is usually crowded with tourists.
The town was a mix of old abandoned buildings and new construction with an old style brick look.
Purple
Last Sunday, Noah's PhotoSunday challenge was for the color purple and I didn't have any recent photos so I decided to take one. The week went by and I completely forgot about it until this morning.
