Waiting for a refund
This photo was taken from my Instagram story and was the start of getting a refund on one of the two airlines. They had a UK number to call but it was busy. During the day, I had this chat running in the background and after 3.5 hours I chatted with someone who was able to issue a refund.
All flights in and out of Cyprus are starting the be canceled. Empty flights are landing to allow people to leave the island if they want. To get back in the country you need a health certificate issued by only a few European countries. Once here, you then need to be in isolation for 14 days. The other issue is that the countries who can issue the health certificate are also starting to close their borders.
