Kalopanagiotis
We took the car up to the mountains this weekend to explore the village Kalopanagiotis.
The drive was about an hour away and once we got into the village, Google Maps suggested that we continue. We had not been to the center so we followed its instructions and continued. We shouldn't have. We ended up on a dirt road that we didn't have the clearance for. We got the car out with some minor body damage.
The almond trees were blooming all over the mountains. We pulled over on our way up to capture some photos.
We had lunch at a taverna in the village center at a restaurant that used to be a movie theatre.
