Mountain Cabin
Philip called me this morning to ask if we wanted to go to the mountains to have a BBQ at a place his family owns. There is a small two-bedroom house that they are considering renovating so they can rent it on AirB&B.
This is the second time this month that we have gone to the mountains. I had thought that the mountains were in the center of the island, but today's adventrue and last weeks were closer to the south of the island, near Larnaca.
There are places in the mountains that remind me of Colorado. If I was dropped at this cabin, without knowing how I got there, I don't think I could tell it was Cyprus or Colorado.
We brought a small charcoal grill to cooks sausages, halloumi, and pita bread.
