Moco (Modern Contemporary) Museum Amsterdam

Moco (Modern Contemporary) Museum Amsterdam

Today we to took the subway and then a train to the Moco Musem. The majority of the building, which probably used to be a house, was dedicated to Banksy's work.

They also had an exhibit from two brothers called Icy & Sot. Thier style is protest art as well but more refined than Banksy.

After the Moco we went to the Van Gogh Museum. They didn't allow photography inside so this photo was taken from a balcony on the top floor.

There are giant letters spelling out "I amsterdam" near the museums. I climbed on top of one of them. Irene took this photo and I got it from Instagram. When I get the original, I'll update this photo.

While on top of the "d" I took a selfie.

One of the students from the Master's program, Jan, used to live in Amsterdam and his previous neighbor gave us a tour of the Red Light District. The guide had written a tour for a tour company and basically gave it to us. It was a lot of history about the city's origins. The Red Light District is more than the sex workers and includes a large portion of the city center.

After the tour, we joined our guide at a local craft brewery. This was the first brewery of the trip!
