Radio City Music Hall
Irene had a blockchain event that she had to attend. While walking over to it we passed Radio City Music Hall.
Rockefeller Center
One of the things I wanted to do was to go to the top of an observatory deck to see the city. So after the blockchain event, we walked over to the Rockefeller Center to go to the top. There was a long line and the next possible time was 10 pm unless you also took a tour or the area.
Top of the Rock
This view is northeast at the top of the Rockefeller Center looking towards Central Park. It was a bit hazy so the visibility was not as good.
Towards Manhattan
The view towards lower Manhattan shows the haziness. We could make out the Statue of Liberty slightly in the river on the right but on the photo it is foggy. The tall building in the distance is the World Trade Center.
After descending from the observatory deck we had dinner at a nearby restaurant. During the winter the restaurant is right converted into a ice skating rink.
After dinner, we walked over to the public library and to Bryant Park.
Later in the evening, we found a Rooftop bar to have a drink at. The building was only four stories!
Times Square
Next we walked over to Times Square which was only a few blocks away.
Art
From 11:57 pm to midnight every night there is an art installation that plays on some of the digital billboards in Times Square.
