BTC Strength Classic
BTC had their first gym only competition today which three movements, one from power, one Olympic and one power man movement. This was my first competition and I had a lot of fun. I got a 10# improvement in my clean and PRed at 180. I also got a PR on my deadlift of 422.5# which is the photo above. I had been using 420# as a calculated PR since I was able to do 405# twice.

Celebratory Beer
I hadn't had anything to drink this week in preparation for the competition. I bought this beer from Cy as a celebratory beer afterward. I shared some of it with some of the gym folks and went to Sports Station for lunch.
