Campus Commons Tour
UNC is constructing a new building called the Campus Commons and today at lunch I got a tour of the construction so far. Behind the group is the auditorium which will replace Foundation Hall as a performance venue for Performing and Visual Arts students.
Entryway
This is the view from the entryway to the building. On the right is a music rehearsal space and straight ahead is the auditorium. The University Center is to the left.
Conduits
These conduits all run underground and provide power and network cables to all of the buildings. The power conduits are run six feet underground and the network cables about 18 inches.
