Disneyland 2017 Star Wars Half Marathon

This morning I slept in a few minutes and woke up at 3:15am. I took the bus over to the starting line but still had to walk about a mile before starting to run. I was so happy to have finished that I had to go back a little bit to get this photo.
For the 10k yesterday the hoodie was too warm while running so this morning I went without it. For running the shorts and shirt worked out great but for standing in line waiting to start it was a bit cold.
Mile 8
I kept my phone in my running belt for the majority of the race because I wanted to focus on my time. The first 5 miles of the race was in the parks and then the next 7 miles was out in Anaheim. At mile 8 I took a few pictures of the mile marker.

After the race I went over to Karl Strauss Brewing for lunch and a beer. I logged into Strava and for the half marathon run I had a bunch of new personal bests. My previous half PR was from New Years Day with a time of 2:27:57.
My unofficial time for the Disney Star Wars Half Marathon was 2:16:27 and was about 13.3 miles since the beginning few miles I had to run around walkers.
