Final Lift Off Olympic Weightlifting Competition
This morning we woke up at 4:30 so we could be down at the Olympic Training Center at 7:30 so Michelle could weigh in at 8. After weighing in and warming up she successfully lifted 3/3 snatch attempts and 2/3 clean & jerk attempts.
This was one of Michelle's practice attempts.
USA Weightlifting will no longer be using the Colorado Springs facility so today's event is the final competition that will be in the springs.

This was Michelle's final lift that she got up by our Gym's standards but not by Olympic standards. At the gym she will count it as a personal record.
Awards
Michelle took 3rd in the 58kg weight class.
After the competition we wandered around the grounds and facilities for a little bit.
