The surgery took about an hour and a half and I was done awake at 1:45 am. Michelle stayed in the waiting room and mentioned that I looked very yellow when I came out. Around 2 am they had taken us to my room where I would recover. I fell asleep very quickly but was woken up every thirty minutes or so for vitals and medicine.
In the morning the pain was a little worse than before the surgery but still wasn't that bad. I was on some pain killers and antibiotics that helped. This picture was from my fourth-floor room. The dog racing track used to be in the field beyond the grounds.
