Casa Bonita
Michelle's sorority alumni group had a fundraiser at Casa Bonita this evening and after deliberating about going for a few weeks I decided to go. I had two main concerns, the first was that I really enjoyed it as a child and I wasn't sure if going back would destroy those memories. The second is that the food is bad, and if I ate it all, I would probably be violently ill the rest of the weekend.
You must purchase a meal!
Food is ordered and served "Cafe Style" where you wait in a line to order and then wait in a line to get your food. Since you get shuffled through a line, everyone has to get a meal. I got a taco salad and only ate the lettuce.
Because Michelle's meal was 'gluten free' we didn't have to wait in the line to get our food, it was brought out to our table when it was ready. That was nice because the food line is usually long.
Once inside we ate our 'food' and watched the cliff divers do their bad skips and dive into the water. Pretty much how I remember it.
After dinner we wandered around and even went through the cave. I remember hitting my head on something last time but I was careful and went through unharmed. Half way through I got a picture of Michelle going into the dragon. We wandered through both arcades as well but didn't stop to play any games.
Overall I had a good time and Michelle bid and on one of the silent auction items. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I could go back in a few years.
