Hops
For the second year, I didn't harvest my hops. In the past, the yield is very low considering how much time it takes to harvest them. On top of that, the vines scratch up my arms and leave red marks all over. This evening I picked a few of the Mount Hood hops and put them into the IPA I brewed at Broken Plow a few months back. Michelle and I split a bottle and noticed that it has improved. The alcohol flavor has subsided and is replaced by a nice sweetness and rich hop flavor.
