Replacement Stones
This photo was taken on the next day, but the story goes with the 29th.
Michelle and I went to Helzberg on Friday afternoon to look at a necklace that Michelle was interested in. They asked if they could clean our rings and we said 'yes'. I let them know that I was aware I was missing a stone and another stone was cracked. Usually, they clean the rings and then tell me when they return them.
When they had finished cleaning the rings, they brought out Michelle's but not mine. They informed me that the broken stone has disintegrated and that they would replace it at no cost. They asked if I would like to replace the missing stone for $30.
In the past, they told me that they could replace the stone but that it would take 1-2 weeks. Today, they said they would replace it right there. We said 'yes'.
When they brought the ring back, it was as shiny as the day I got it. I had forgotten how shiny it was!
