Thompson River Ranch
This panorama was taken at the same spot as yesterday's photo but taken today and a different perspective. The water has receded and from the posts I saw on Facebook, the water didn't get to the first row of homes.
If you compare this photo with yesterday's, you can see two roads between the development and the farmer's house.
Today I brought my telephoto lens so I could get zoom into some of the items and vehicles that were flooded.
I25
I25 reopened last night around 10pm. Today, the traffic was flowing very slowly on it as I assume people were looking at the area. Although we too were lookie-loos, we stayed off the interstate .
Windsor
After Loveland, we drove over to Windsor to see if there was flooding in Water Valley. This road was closed, but there were people walking through it and at one point I saw an emergency vehicle cross it.
This morning, I took this photo out or bedroom window. They used these helicopters to transport people out of areas that no longer have road access.
