Today is our last day in Arizona as we are flying out later this evening. This is a 13 photo panorama from the outside sitting area.

Delayed

Our flight was supposed to take off at 5:50, but when we got through security at 4:45 we found out that it was delayed until 7:30. We had dinner and waited around another hour and it got delayed further. I had looked up online and found that the plane was coming from Denver and was delayed from leaving until 7pm; "Plane Servicing"
At 7pm, the plane was delayed from leaving until 9:45 so the ticket counter offered people to switch to an US Airways flight that was leaving at 7:45. The catch... it was in a different terminal that had separate security. After giving them our checked bag number we ran out of the terminal and headed to the busses so we could try to catch the US Airways flight.
On the bus we meet Vinny, who was alo traveling to Colorado to attend school up at Aims in Greeley.
The bus ride was about 5 minutes and we had to go to ticketing to get boarding passes. United had printed out tickets, but were not able to print out boarding passes.
We were in the security line at 7:14. There was a line, but we were able to get through in about 10 minutes. It went "smooth" for us. For some reason my ticket got out of it's container and was under the bag of the guy before me. He found it for me and gave it to me.
At 7:30 we were at our new gate and in line to board the plane. Vinny was about 30 people behind us in security and we told the ticket people ... they didn't care.
On the place, hopefully our one checked bag made it as well. Vinny is in the seat cater-corner from us in front. He turns around and informs us that security didn't like the way his container was arranged and dumped it out on the belt line. He lost his phone. He didn't have his friends number to call when he got in.
When we landed and Vinny used Michelle's phone to log into facebook to send a message to his friend to give him a call on Michelle's phone. We exited the plane and headed to get our bags. About 10 minutes later Michelle gets a call from his friend and they arrange for pickup.
The bags were just emerging as we entered the bag carousel area. We got a place and I went to use the restroom. As I got back, I saw that Michelle had her bag and it wasn't wet. We had packed a bunch of beer in it that I received as gifts and the last flight we took, by bag was covered with water (?).
Vinny gets his bag and remembers that during the security fiasco he had removed his girlfriends macbook. It was still in Phoenix. shit...
