Makers Faire
Today we went to the Makers Faire at Union Station in Kansas CIty, MO. There were a lot of different demonstrations on everything from tesla coils to makerbots.
DeLorean
Outside the hall they had few cars including this DeLorean, which was used as promotion for the Back to the Future movies.
Arc Attack
Arc Attack, a metal band that uses Tesla Coils to generate different pitches played a short set. We only stayed for a few songs because it was so loud.
Sand Castle Art
World War I Memorial
After the Maker Faire, we walked to the south where there was a World War I Memorial.
South
We took the elevator up to the top and I took a buch of pictures. This one is facing south.
Kansas City
Looking north towards town down Kansas City. In the foreground is Union Station, where the Maker Faire was held.
Waiting
When we were done taking pictures, we waited for the elevator to come back up.
Tracks
In the evening we went out to dinner at a BBQ restaurant. Afterwards we headed back to the car and I got this shot. The building in the background is the opposite side of Union Station.
