New Lens
I got a new lens in the mail today! My old 18-55 kit lens had a piece of foil break and would no longer auto-focus. I checked online and apparently this is an issue Canon knows about. My boss was selling her new kit lens (18-55) but since the issue was known, I figured it would be better to invest in a better lens.
Canon's lens are very expensive so I did some research and got a Tamron 17-50 and so far I really like it. Of course I have only taken pictures in the yard and at work, but I hope to take it out this weekend and test it out.
I have also made a few modifications to the blog. The first, is separating out the camera from the lens; there were too many camera / lens combinations. Next, I have added keyboard short cuts to the site. These are listed at the bottom of this page. Arrow keys, r, c, m, t. Finally, I have updated the about page to include stats on the most popular cameras and lens.
