Barrel Project
The Greeley Homebrew Club, Brewnion, purchased a 55 gallon barrel from Odell's Brewing. Various members in the club are brewing anywhere from 4 gallons to 25 gallons to fill up the barrel. I brewed 5 gallons this afternoon.
Russian Imperial Stout
The style we are brewing is a Russian Imperial Stout; so I had a Yeti from Great Divide, and since I started in the morning, I had their Espresso Yeti.
False Bottom
This is pieces of my old false bottom; I left this sitting in grains for a week last year, so I bought some copper at Lowes yesterday and built another.
This piece is basically a strainer that allows wort (unfermented beer) to flow, but not grains.
