Sod!
Sod came today around 11am, which was a bit later than expected. It is better to plant the grass during the morning when it is cooler, however, it can be placed in the afternoon. Two pallets were delivered and it took a few hours for them to be installed.
Sprinkler System
For the next two weeks the sod will be watered four times a day which will allow the seams to join better. We currently have six sprinkler heads and a drip system. The sprinkler heads are divided into two zones: the east zone waters first and once completed, the west zone turns on. The drip system that currently waters all the plants and trees. Mark said that the trees will grow a lot better with the new consistent watering.

Tomorrow Mark’s crew will come back and finish up with the mulch. They were supposed to do it today but with the late arrival of the sod, the mulch has to wait until tomorrow.
We hope to post some more photos and information tomorrow once the yard it done. We are also ordering gravel that we will spread out mostly on the north side.
