Windshield Wiper Warmer
We bought a 2009 Subaru Forester yesterday (you can read about it here). This is a close up of the windshield wiper warmer.
We picked up the car this evening and one of the people who worked there started showing us the features of the car. About half way through he started talking about the service people as “his people”. So we figured he was the manager of the service department. Towards the end he told us that he was the General Manager of the entire dealership. We were really impressed that the Manager of the dealership showed us the features of the car and how excited he was about Subaru’s.
This vehicle also has something called “Partial Zero Emission Vehicle”, which is a feature that is required of new cars in 11 states. Basically, while the car is idle the only thing coming out of the exhaust pipe is water. We were told that you can breathe out of the tail pipe while it is idling, although we are not going to test that out.
