Hope
This shot was taken on May 22nd after a Tornado came through Windsor, Colorado. The original image was a quick snapshot and had many technical problems: the sky was washed out, the house was dark. It also had composition problems: a car had just entered the frame and the photo was taken at an angle.
In an ideal world, I would have re-shot this photo with a tripod and paid closer attention to my camera settings. Unfortunately, I couldn't stop because the police were trying to get everyone out of the area to protect it from looters.
I had some time yesterday and I was finally able to spend some time on processing it. This is the final composition. I am not 100% happy with it, I may have to revisit it at a later date.
